Grace Bible School is our 'Sunday School' program offered September through
May for ages 3 through fifth
grade. Sessions are offered Sundays at 8:20, 9:40 and 11:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m.
Classes are open to members and non-members and are taught by trained leaders.
With this year's new format, children will attend worship with their parents through the children's sermon (the first 20 minutes of the service), and then be dismissed
to Koinonia Hall for a large-group gathering.
Each week the children meet in
a large group for music, puppets, stories and baptism birthday celebrations, then break into small classes for
further learning and fun.
Grace Lutheran Church is a fun,
faith-filled place for all kids and
their families! Registration forms for the 2008-09 school year are available on the Welcome Center. We
warmly welcome those interested in teaching,
subbing, leading music, or helping in
the Education Office.

"Don't let people look down on you because you are young, but set an example to the believers in your faith, your love, your purity and your life."
1 Timothy 4:12
Hey youth, you are important! You make a difference! You can set an example for your parents (no joke!). God is doing big things in you, and other people see it. Thank you for your attendance at the Lent worship services - your faith is shining!

Family Worship
Family-friendly worship services are held every Sunday at 8:20, 9:40 and 11:00 a.m. and Wednesdays at 5:45 p.m. (Wednesday evening worship services are led by jazz pianist, John Koziol.) Kids ages 3 to
103 will enjoy these worship times;
everyone will feel Christ's presence in
the music, liturgies, prayers and
sermons. As it is said, 'It takes a
village to raise a child,' and our
'village' here at Grace has something
for everyone!
Faithful Families
Developing and encouraging family faith formation is a priority at Grace. Throughout the year we offer many opportunities for families to grow in faith together through many fun and inspiring events.
On September 21
our third graders and parents will attend a Bible-centered event where they learned how to dig into God's holy book.
In the spring, April 5, 2009, fifth graders will gather with their parents to learn about our sacrament of Holy Communion.
Information will be mailed to homes as these events approach.
Youth & Family Institute Resource Center
No need to take an extra trip to the local Christian bookstore, as our very own Youth & Family Institute Resource Center is open for browsing and purchasing whenever the church office is open!
There are resources available for all ages and stages of family, including parenting, teen life, beginner's and young reader's Bibles, picture books and much more. Great gift giving, too! Selected books are highlighted on Family Worship Sundays. And, there is often great materials on clearance! Questions? Call Laurel at the church office, 952-432-7273. |
